POLICIES FOR VENDOR

As a requirement, all DNP vendors are to abide and practice the following policies:

SAFETY & HEALTH

  • To provide a clean and safe place of work for all employees
  • To ensure that systems of work adopted by the company are safe
  • To provide plant and machinery that are clean and safe to use
  • To conduct suitable training for employees on safety and health

CHILD AND YOUNG PERSON LABOUR

  • To employ only person at the age of 16 and above through verification of original identity card or passport, a copy of which will be kept in individual's personal file for audit inspection

DISCRIMINATION

  • All persons are to be treated equally and with respect
  • Not to practice or preach any form of discrimination in employment either in the opportunities to training and / or promotion, compensation, welfare and / or in dismissal and retirement by means of:
    • Race and / or creed
    • Nationality and / or religion
    • Physical handicap and / or gender
    • Union and / or political party membership

FORCED LABOUR

  • All workers are to employed by the company out of their own choice, wish and willingness
  • Workers with grievances are at the liberty to lodge a complaint or report to the supervisors in charge, failing which they could complaint directly to the higher management
  • All complaints and reports from any employee will be entertained, looked into and / or investigated and appropriate actions to be taken accordingly
